1. Overview
What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data AceMakers collects when you visit acemakers.io, join a waitlist, book a call, buy a program or use the AceMakers platform, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have. Personal data is any information that can identify you, such as your name, email address or company.
AceMakers is the controller responsible for this data. You can reach us at admin@acemakers.io.
2. Data we collect
What we collect and why
Data you give us
When you join the waitlist, book a call, send us a message, buy a program or create an account, we collect what you enter: typically your name, email address, company, role and the details of your purchase. We use it to run the program you signed up for, to answer you, to send you the emails you asked for and to issue invoices.
Data collected automatically
Our servers log technical data about every request, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, the pages you open and the time of access. These logs keep the site secure and working and are deleted on a rolling basis.
Legal basis
We process data to perform a contract with you (programs, purchases, accounts), with your consent (waitlist and marketing emails, marketing cookies), to meet legal obligations (tax and accounting records) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.
3. Cookies and tracking
Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies keep you signed in and remember your settings. With your consent we also use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) to measure the results of our ads. It may set cookies and send Meta data about your visit, including your IP address and the pages you viewed. Details on how Meta handles this data are in the Meta privacy policy.
You can delete cookies or block them in your browser at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
4. Service providers
Who we share data with
We share personal data only with the providers below, each of which processes it on our behalf and under a data processing agreement, and otherwise only where the law requires it. We never sell your data.
Hosting
acemakers.io and the AceMakers platform run on servers operated by Fly.io, Inc. Fly.io stores the data you enter on the site and the server logs described above. See the Fly.io privacy policy.
Payments
Purchases are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers; we receive your name, email address, billing address and the status of the payment. See the Stripe privacy policy.
Transactional and program emails are sent through Resend, Inc., which processes your email address and the content of the email. See the Resend privacy policy.
Fonts
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts (Google LLC). When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives your IP address. See the Google privacy policy.
Scheduling
Links to book a call open Calendly (Calendly LLC) in a new tab. Data you enter there is covered by the Calendly privacy policy.
5. Retention
How long we keep data
We keep personal data for as long as you have an account or an active program with us, and afterwards only as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting records. Waitlist and marketing data is deleted when you unsubscribe. Server logs are deleted on a rolling basis.
6. Your rights
What you can ask us
You can ask us at any time what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict how we process it, receive a copy in a portable format, object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw any consent you gave, with effect for the future. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Write to admin@acemakers.io and we will answer within 30 days.
7. Security
Encryption
All traffic between your browser and acemakers.io is encrypted with TLS; you can tell by the https:// in the address bar and the lock symbol next to it.
8. Changes
